Here are some handmade wood knitting needles made by me!

I like to try new things in the knitting and crochet world. I have been making wood knitting needles and love the way that have turn out. They feel great in my hands and my yarn moves smoothly over them like silk. They are great!! If you would like a pair just e-mail and I will make you a pair for $7.99 plus $3.00 shipping. You can e-mail me at blessings_53@hotmail.com.

Check out these as well

Here are some hats and a scarf I made from the round knitting loom. It was really fun and went very well once I caught on how to do it!

Crochet and Knit

Hi,

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I wanted to start a blog to meet others that love this craft as I do. I learned to crochet in high shool and loved it. I thought then I would like to learn to knit as well but I could not get it. I crochet for a few years and quit for a number of years and picked it up a time or two again. Last year I got the urge to try my hand at it again and I am hook for life now. So much I finally tought myself how to knit. I made up my mind that I was not going to let those straight needles scare me any longer. I finish my first project and I am rather proud of it I must say. I will post it in a few days. It started out as a scarf but I changed my mind and thought it would be cuter as a purse. I am glad I did. I used the ribbed stitch all the way through--it is charming!!

Well I must go now will post again soon with some pictures of finish projects from crochet and knitting.
